The 2026 Budget Law has also confirmed for this year the main tax incentives dedicated to renovation and redevelopment works on homes and outdoor areas, including in certain cases in-ground pools as well.

Pool tax incentives 2026

The tax deductions provided by the regulations allow renovation and upgrading works on the pool, including:

improving energy efficiency;
aesthetic and modernization works;
replacement of the flooring and pool edge;
renewal of circulation and heating systems;
upgrading the lighting system;
installation of hydromassage systems.

The incentives can be applied both to the primary home and to the second home, in compliance with the requirements set out by current regulations.

In-ground pool renovation: the types of bonuses available

The tax incentives for pools planned for 2026 concern renovation and upgrading works on private in-ground pools located at residential properties, such as villas, detached homes or apartments with a private outdoor area.
